I am an experienced planner and designer with a passion for connection. I grew up in North Carolina and love the idea of bringing southern hospitality to California. Creating opportunities for people to gather and celebrate life's precious moments with one other is what MBE is all about!

My approach is one rooted in intentionality, creativity, organization, collaboration, and also fun! I really enjoy getting to know my clients so I can curate a beautifully designed event full of custom details that is unique to them and what they are celebrating. At MBE, we not only put a premium on client experience, but also on guest experience, as we want both you and them to feel special and taken care of at all times. 

MBE is based in the Bay Area but we work with clients from all over and we specialize in weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, dinner parties, and more!

When I'm not planning events, you can find me hanging out with my husband and our two goldendoodles, Sprig and Clove. Most weekends we look for a new coffee shop to try (we both love coffee probably a little TOO much), preferably one with good donuts because who doesn't like a donut with their latte?! I also love fitness, fresh flowers, champagne, country music, charcuterie, and of course hosting impromptu happy hours at our house!

Meet Maddy, our Operations Manager. She manages all of our back end logistics including contracts, invoicing, payroll, and all of our client workflows. Her organization and administrative creativity keeps everything running smoothly at MBE!

When she's not working, you can find her hanging out with her husband and two sweet toddlers. She is a fantastic baker and loves a good romantic comedy!
